| SURVEY In 1994, SINOCHEM yielded a total of US£¤14.993
billion which was an increase of 13.1% over that of the previous year.
Its export volume totalled US£¤3.456 billion, with US £¤2.
341 billion worth of crude oil and petroleum products; chemicals, US£¤741
million. The total import volume was US£¤3.668 billion. Operations
other than importing and exporting also developed fast, reaching US£¤7.

Apart from the traditional commodities such as petroleum products, chemical fertilizers and chemicals, SINOCHEMhandled cereals, garments, machinery, minerals and metals, and timbers.
