Corporation(abbreviated as CHINA TEX), founded in November, 1951, is a
specialized foreign trade corporation attached to the Ministry of
Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation of the People's Republic of
China. Chinatex mainly specializes in all kinds of textile materials,
textile finished products, semi-finished products, garments, knitwear,
cotton and woollen textile products and other imports and exports
approved by the state. Furthermore, Chinatex acts as an agent of above
businesses by means of commission, undertakes joint business,
cooperative production and technological import and export, processes
the imported parts, manufactured parts according to the samples
provided by overseas partner, assembles with imported parts, carries
out compensation trade, counter trade, barter, entrpot trade and
international trade. It also undertakes international transportation,
advertising and publicity, consultation service of international trade,
commodities exhibition and technological exchange. In the meantime,
Chinatex, by means of joint investment and business, is engaged in
internal wholesale and retail, the industry of textiles and garments,
food processing, technological co- operation and development and the
services of restaurants and hotels.
