Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited is one of the largest
importers of oil and gas supplies in India. It regularly
invites international competitive bids from foreign
companies for import of oil and gas equipment.
Bidders should be manufacturers only. Bidders who are sole
selling agents/authorised dealers/authorised supply
houses/authorised distributors can also be considered.
Their bids should be accompanied with backup authority
letter from concerned manufacturer who authorised them to
be valid at the time of bidding.
Bidders should submit with their bid a test report, issued
by Regional Chemistry Lab (RCL), ONGCL, Kanjurmarg (East),
Mumbai of their quoted product, to conform that the product
conforms to all parameters of specification.
Bidders may get their product tested from ONGC, RCL,
Kanjurmarg (East), Mumbai 400 020 by submitting their
samples upto March 16, 1998, on payment of testing fee.
Bidders who have supplied their items to ONGC, during the
past one year from the date of the opening of the tender are
permitted to submit test report issued by ONGC, RCL,
Kanjurmarg, for their bulk samples. The sample should be
accepted by ONGC. Offers without the test report issued by
ONGC, RCL, Kanjurmarg, Mumbai, shall not be considered.
The Indian agents/representatives can purchase tender
documents on behalf of their foreign principals on payment
of tender fees equilavent to INR 3000/-. This amount would
be refunded on receipt of the tender fee in U.S. Dollars.
