| 4. Reasons & Conditions for Its Construction an Market Forecasting: Fujian Sannong Chemical Co. Ltd is a middle size chemical enterprise whose main products include organic phosphorus pesticides and other fine chemical products. It is among the 50 backbone pesticide enterprises of Chinese Chemical Ministry and 100 key enterprises of Fujian Province. Its shares went on the market in July, 1997. It has so far raised a certain amount of capital for production and new products development, making itself a strong company. Metanillic benzyl ether belongs to the intermediate for special liquid crystal synthetic material, widely used in medical and dyeing industry. It is a main raw material for synthesizing a special chemical product. Owing to its technological difficulty, only few countries can produce it in the whole world. In Chinaonly Zhongdan Group Company succeeded in intermediate experiment in the end of 1997. The elemental (single) operation of the synthesis of metanillic benzyl ether is similar to that other of other pesticides produced by the company, with similar equipments. Sannon Co. will adopt world advanced technology developed by Wuhan Chemical College, 99% of products will reach their quality requirements. According to the design scale of the project, 1150 tons of alkaline and 650 tons of chlorhydric acid will be balanced per year, lower production cost and balance chlorine and alkaline. The key material of metanillic benzyl ether is metanillic phenol, which can be self synthesized by Sannon Co., making advantage of the byproduct H2 of alkaline(at present, besides synthesizing chlorhydric acid, the company's hydrogen is mainly used as heat source). In this way, products cost will be lowered, while opening a good means for hydrogen utilization. |
