4. Reasons & Conditions for Its Construction an Market Forecasting:
The wall plates with pressure are made from such raw materials as mica, other fiber, lime and sand by means of shaping, pressure and steaming with such good characteristics as anti-burning, insulate against heat, sound, anti-mould, anti-moth, light, high strength, suitable for drilling and sawing. They are one of modern and practical materials for wall.
With the help of Wuhan Institute of Building Material Design under the state Building Material Bureau, Sanming New Building Materials Plant is the first in our province in the development and mass-production of the plates made of calcium silicate. Since 1990 it was put into production, it is because it is the best in the series of light boards for such characteristics as anti-fire, beautiful shape, anti-damp, anti- mould, anti-moth and without shrinking. Therefore, the plates manufactured by the plant have never come across any problems in selling. However, the plates manufactured by the plant contain asbestos with great brittleness, which has made a direct influence on the spreading the products in the high-graded building and on the sale of them abroad, therefore, it is necessary to transform the technical achievements, to strengthen the force of development and to enlarge the production scale so as to realize the industrialization of the great technical achievement. At present, this plant has successfully developed the new products of plates made from calcium silicate without asbestos.

Newly extending a production line of yearly producing 3 million m2 of the plates made of calcium silicate with or without asbestos.

The total input will be 20 million yuan, 1.2 million USD of foreign investment is expected.

SANMING NEW BUILDING MATERIALS FACTORY

    Sanming New Building Materials Factory, one of the compact enterprises of Fujian Jianming building Materials Group Company, lies in Sanming, an important industrial city of Fujian Province. Our factory covers a land of 48 thousand square meters with a building area of 16 thousand square meters. It has its own special railroad. There are seven branches under it ---the Calcium Siliacts Board Factory, the Steel Furrings Factory, the Fibre-cement Corrugated Sheet Co., Ltd., the New Building Materials Decorate & Repair Engineering Company. The New Building Materials Supply & Marketing Company, and Jiaming Hotel. With a staff member of over 800, 10 percent of whom are administrative personnel, engineers and technicians graduated from colleges and polytechnic schools, our factory is able to product annually 3.0 million square meters of Fibre--reinforced Calcium Silicate serie boards of different uses, 2 thousand tons of steel furrings for buildings, and 1.5 million standard standard sheets of asbestos--cement corrugated sheet. We are able to provide our customers variety and specifications of the products with high seriali-zability. With the most advanced technological equipments in China and high proficient testing and detecting center, our factory is a large-scale enterprise specialized in modern new building materials.
"Golden Palace" Fibre-reinforced Calcium Silicate serie boards are our leading products, including sand-polished panels, decorative panels and voice-absorption boards. The products have the fine properties of light weight, high strength, non-combustibility, mothproof, mildewproof and heat-insulation, and are sawable, drillable, planeable. Setting with steel furrings, they are widely used for bay plates, ceilings, fire-proof doors and thermal-insulation materials in ships.
   The provincial identification, the comments of famous experts in the same trade in China, and the conference with other domestic and foreign products in the same trade certificate that "Golden Palace" fibre-reinforced Calcium Silicate boards and steel furrings have reached the world standard.
   "Jianming"Middle-corrugated and Small-corrugated Asbestos-cement corrugated sheet have reached the national advanced standards during the trade-competition and awarded the "Silver Prize" on the First Fujian Manufactured Goods Fair. The middle-corrugated sheet was awarded "Fujian High Quality Product".
