4.Situation of Enterprise: Yong'an Taoyuan Foodstuff Co., Ltd. Is located in the civilized ancient town ----Xiaotao Town, Yong'an in the hilly land of north- western Fujian. It is richful in the resources of mao bamboo, vegetables, fruits and fungus for the soil here is rich and fertile and the climate mild. In order to turn the advantage of the resources into that of economy, according to the thought of cultivating the dragon enterprise to push the advantageous industry, the project was set up in Oct. 1995. In the recent years, four bases of resource for mao bamboo, vegetables, fruits and fungus have been cultivated, which has promoted the enterprise to become a dragon head of agricultural industrialization. The company was put formally into production in Mar. 1996, it is a project of comprehensive development of agriculture encouraged by the state, the productive technology is developed and guided by Fujian Agricultural University and Fujian Provincial Light Industrial Institute. It occupies an area of 1000 m², a constructional space of 4397 m². 3.8 million yuan of fixed asset input has been completed with the capacity to produce 2000 ton of series of foodstuff yearly. There are now 6 technicians, 120 workers. It now mainly manufactures such canned foods as water-cooking bamboo shoots, mushrooms, corianders, sweet bamboo shoots and seasoning bamboo shoots. The main canned products developed in the recent years such as 2950 style water-cooking bamboo shoots, seasoning bamboo shoots, sweet bamboo shoots were deeply welcomed by the vast consumers while they are coon the exhibitions of "Provincial Agricultural Special Products Exhibition" and "Provincial Exhibition of New-Year Goods". Although the productive capacity of our company has not yet reached its design in these two years, it has gained great economic and social results. In 1997, it was approved as "Advanced Production Unit" by the municipal government and was cared, supported and approved by all circles.
5. The-future-three-year Development & Investment: Our company will plan to produce in 1999 1000 ton of 2950 style canned water-cooking bamboo shoots, 50 ton of seasoning bamboo shoots, 100 ton of canned mushroom and 100 ton of canned mo-mushroom, which will bring about the sale income of 7.68 million yuan, the tax of 634,000 yuan, the profit of 455,000 yuan, the circulating fund of 2.60 million yuan is needed yearly, of which 1 million yuan is to be raised by our company, there is still a lack of circulating fund of 1.60 million yuan. Our company plans to draw foreign investment of 8.03 million yuan RMB during 1999 to 2001, of which the fixed asset takes up 5.03 million yuan, 3 million yuan of circulating fund, a new production line will be set up with the capacity designed: 0.5 T/k quick frozen + freezer (-18¡ã). The scale of the production: 2000 ton of food will be frozen yearly. The installed capacity of the equipment is 280 kw. The program of production is the production and process of such vegetables as the slices of bamboo shoots, stringless green beans, pea, broad beans, guinea beans, onion, garlics, taros, potatoes and peanuts, such fungus as mushrooms, straw mushrooms and edible fungus, the series of meat and poultry and such quick frozen food of sea living as kelp and laver. With the regulation of the structure of foodstuff by human beings, the demand in the large domestic markets for fresh green food is more and more great. The sale will be good. Therefore, it enjoys a broad market.
