Reasons & Conditions for Its Construction an Market Forecasting: Edible fungi are rich in amino acids, vitamins and minerals, high in protein and low in fat with fairly good health-care function. The market prices for off-season edible fungi are usually 2-3 times higher than conventionally cultured ones. Tangchuan Village has a altitude over 800 m with plane lands, the highest temperature of which is only 24.5¡æ, the temperature below 20¡æ lasting as long as eight months. Its relative humidity is over 84%, the annual rainfall being 1700 mm. There is a wood depositing amount of 1.09 million m3 in the county, with rich raw materials and premium conditions for edible fungi culture. In fact, the county has some dozens years of edible fungi growing with adequate experience and efficient technical power.
