Reasons & Conditions for Its Construction an Market Forecasting: The base is located at the Dahu Stone Forest Scenery in Dahu Town, Yong'an, 13 km from Yongan City with the total area of 500 mu, bounded by the provincial road in the south, neighboring the army in the west, convenient in transportation and enough supply of the power. Most of the land is cultivation one with the thick and deep earth. There are 51 mu of oranges, 17 mu of nai pears, 53 mu of pomelo, 30 mu of beans, 45 mu of rice, 62 mu of fish pond. There is still 200 mu of uncultivated land to be developed. The water source for the base is plenty. In the stream in the area, a clam has been built up for the reserve of water. Two ponds with an area of about 30 mu, two simple machine wells can be connected with the irrigation clitch of the large-scale reservoir. There is a Lilin garden under jurisdiction of Dahu Town with an area of 2 mu, dozens of species of flowers. Yong'an is the key city in Sanming. If a modern agricultural Pilot base is setup in Yong'an, it can have an obvious advantage, radiating to the 10 sites respectively in 8 counties of Sanming by means of combining the point and surface. At present a service system for spreading agricultural science and technology hasbeen set up with the perfect of the three stations of the towns and various agriculturally special technological associations, basically form of technological spreading network mainly with the state spreading system and auxiliary with various farmers' technological associations and research councils, and a business or ganization integrating the technology, trade, industry and agriculture with various of economy. At the same time, they have set up a good cooperative relation with the colleges and universities and scientific research institutions. So the combination of technology with economy has been strengthened with the technical guide of the special associations under Sanming Scientific & Technological Association, special research offices under the Provincial Agricultural Scientific Research Institute and the Jingan Irrigational Station, Fuzhou, which has provided a strong support in the technology for the construction of the pilot base. |
