| 4. Reasons & Conditions for Its Construction an Market Forecasting: Located at 26 km from southwest of Sanming City, Gesikao(a kind of rare tree) Natural Protection Region was established in 1958. With an area of 1125 hec. and timbre reserve of 230,000 m3 where is the largest one in the world. Rich in resources and in varied animals and plants,there are 600 species fibro-vascular plants in more than 100 families such as Gesikao, Michu,Camphor tree Phoebe Nanmu and so on; tens of edible fungi including red mushroom,Li mushroom, Boletales and so on; tens of precious rare wildlife such as black bear,masked civets, water beer, boa, clouded leopard, pangolin, silver pheasant and other 2,000 species of in sects and amphibiotic animals. The village is an ideal place to the people for scientific investigation, touring and sightseeing, convalesce and vacation. Sanyuan Forestry Bureau of Sanming City has put on investment a recently about 9 million yuan to build guest house, restaurant, meeting room and other establishments. The forest park has been set up with 17 places including artificial lake, tea pavilion, outdoor dancing hall, bamboo tower, recreation pavilion, observation tower and so on. The cement road runs the region. A good transportation, a convenience of water and power installations and all kinds of communicating equipment make the village more interesting and enchanting, attracting the visitors about 35,000 people time per year.
