The eclipse will start around 8:30, and the maximum time of the total phase will last about 5 minutes. Standing under the shadow of the sun is a rare opportunity and one that is inexpressibly spectacular.

Sunglasses and common astronomical telescopes do not work unless special filters are placed on the lenses. Experts advise watching the Sun only for short periods of time. The continuous viewing time should be no more than 1 minute.

The tide is the biggest on the eighteenth day of the eighth lunar month .The maximum tide reach a height of 30 feet and make a deafening sound like thunder or thousands of horses galloping.
