Pear Balls with Honey

      Materials:
      500g yellow pear
      100g honey
      200g sugar
      100g lard

      Preparations:
    1. Peel, core and shred the pears.
    2. Mix with egg white, cornstarch, and lour, make into 3cm diameter balls.
    3. Deep-fry the balls in 5-fold hot oil till golden brown, remove and drain.
    4. Stir-fry sugar till brown, add water, white sugar and pear balls, simmer over a low heat till there is little juice left.
    5. Add honey and dry further, pour in some oil, transfer to a plate.
