Nanjing Jincheng Machinery Co. Ltd., a joint-venture enterprise co-sponsored by Malasia's Jinshi Group, China Aeronautic Foundation and Jincheng Machinery Factory & Jincheng Motors Group is currently the biggest foreign-Chinese joint-venture enterprise in China's motorcycle industry. Ratified by the State Planning Committe and the Foreign Trade and Cooperation Ministry, it was registered with a total investment of $99.9 millions, and registered capital $88 millions, and began operation on March 18,1994.

The motorcycles produced by Jincheng Motors Group now have 5 series and 28 models. They sell well both at home and abroad, and are generally acknowledged as Chinese famous brand motorcycles. In 1994, the production and selling quantities of Jincheng Motorcycles numbered 4th in the country. By 1996, the yearly output will be over 1 million vehicles, making it the leading enterprise in the industry.

• Jincheng Motorcycle was awarded Ulan Bator International Exhibition Gold Medal;
• 147FM Petrol Engine was awarded State Quality Silver Prize(the only honor ever awarded to the Motorcycle Industry);
• Jincheng Motorcycle was awarded the Golden Bridge Medal of the Country's well-selling commodities for three successive years;
• Jincheng Motorcycle was decided by the China Consumers Association as the 1995 Recommended Commodity of the China Consumers Association( the only recommended commodity in the whole motorcycle industry);
• Jincheng Motorcycle was decided by the China Quality Association as the Consumer Satisfaction Product;
