The Forum has a general meeting with the participation of all Forum members, which is the decision-making organ, and a secretariat which is responsible for day-to-day work. The general meeting is held at a 18-months interval and can be held at a shorter or longer interval as circumstances require.
Forum funds come from membership fee, social patronage and regular service income.
Forum's publication is Business Newsletter of Pacific Economic Cooperation, published not at regular intervals.

The Business Forum of China National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation is an unique institution consisting of well-known leaders of China's business community and embodying the current level of China's business development. A BRIEF INTRODUCTION
The Business Forum of CNCPEC was established in June 1994. It is an institution consisting of prominent industrialists and business leaders of China to promote business cooperation and exchanges among the member countries and areas of PECC. Its purpose is to facilitate the participation of the Chinese businese community in Pacific economic cooperation, to work for and promote multilateral and bilateral exchanges among PECC members, particularly among business communities of PECC,to increase cooperation opportunities and to help trade and investment liberalization in Asia-Pacific so as to achieve the goal of joint development and common prosperity.
