Zhangjiakou-- The Original Palace of China's Earliest Culture
Zhangjiakou City, 200 km. north to Beijing, was once an important fortress.
To the north of the city is the highland area with dense forest and verdant grass which has been listed ecological tourist area, making it an ideal place for escaping hot weather in summer and skiing in winter. To the south of the city there is another scenic spot- a big reservior with green hills and fruit trees. |
